Dee is an inspirational 13 year who has battled leukemia twice – once when he was 7 and the second time at the age of 12. He continues fighting the after-effects (bone problems, difficulty walking and a low immune system).
From Dee’s mom: “Dee has been battling illnesses for a while now. He is only 13 & has had cancer twice. Last year one of his lil sisters was his perfect match for a bone marrow transplant. He is now cancer free but is having walking and lung issues. He is able to get around but takes him longer to move around. Dee is the oldest child of five kids. He is a very strong and brave kid. Even though he has several doctor visits he was still able to attend school this year…”
