Baby Nash is battling Rhabdomyosarcoma.
FROM NASH’S MOTHER: “My 2 1/2 month old son, Nash, was actually BORN with Rhabdomyosarcoma tumors on his chest wall. Drs say only a handful of babies have ever been KNOWN to be born with RMS. They saw the lumps as soon as he was taken from my womb (i had a c-sect) and it had been madness ever since. 3 operations, with removing the 2 tumors (born with 1 & another grew within 2 weeks of him being born), 4 ribs, part of his chest wall & part of his diaphragm. Now he is going thru 42 weeks of VAC chemo treatments weekly. when the took out tumors, the path reports showed the margins WERE NOT CLEAN – so another surgery to biopsey his Lat back muscle will be determined in a few weeks, along with scans. I am going out of my friggin’ mind – as this was NOT known about until he was born & it is SOOO rare, aggressive & dangerous – and he is just so small, sweet & innocent…”
